Bellabox | September 2013

Bellabox was my next monthly subscription box to arrive and I was overjoyed. Mainly for the fact that the package that came in the mail was HUGE! Super exciting! Check out my video on YouTube to see my first impressions of the box.

This box is themed Spring Party Essentials, presented by Cleo. For once, I understand the theme! It was a really great ‘box’ that was put together this month. Cleo and Bellabox really outdid themselves :)

The main reason for the parcel being huge was that they included a Cleo magazine as a bonus! A great touch! I suppose it could be annoying for people if they had already purchased the magazine, but I don’t normally buy Cleo. I used to a couple of years ago (I actually had a subscription) but I tend to only buy Vogue Australia, Instyle and Marie Claire of late.

The essential product included this month was another Montagne Jeunesse Dead Sea Mud Pac Masque - RRP $3.99. I’ve received these before and they don’t really wow me. Nothing bad about receiving a face mask to use up though! I’ll add it to my stash.

The colour product was the Elegant Touch Envy Wraps - RRP $8.99. According to the card, Elegant Touch is the leading nail care company in the UK, which is pretty cool. I received nail wraps that are orange and pink tie-dyed, which I love! I can’t wait to wear them with a white dress to really make them pop!

Another reason this package was bigger was because they included the award winning Schick Hydro Silk Razor - RRP $9.99. As someone who has been using the Venus razors for the last seven years or so, I am excited to try something new! It also came with a discount offer for buying refill razors which I thought was a nice touch.

I’m not sure why the Manicare Glam Kelly Lashes - RRP $11.95, were included as the trick product. Party trick maybe? *shrugs* In any case, I was happy to see them peeking up at me. I need to learn to wear false lashes more because they can transform a look!

Next was another essential product, Footcare Gel Ball of Foot Cushions - RRP $8.99 for 2 pairs. I don’t often wear foot cushions and I wonder why I complain about wearing heels so much! I need to try these out on the weekend and see how they fare. A nice little addition to the ‘party’ theme of the box for sure!

Next up was Garnier Ambre Solaire Natural Bronzer Spray - RRP $14.95. This is the cult product included in the box, and nothing screams the beginning of spring like a new tan! I am going to try this one out, and I will be interested to compare it to the St Tropez Bronzing Mousse that I received in the July 2013 Violet Box. I was super impressed with that product, so I will see if this one is as good It is about $30 cheaper so it’d be pretty great if it was.

Last in the box was ASAP Pure Mineral Lip Pencil - RRP $20.00 - which doubled up as colour and award winner. I wasn’t even aware that ASAP had a makeup line so I was pretty happy to try this out! It’s a lovely pink rose colour, and felt quite velvety on the skin when I swatched it, so it will hopefully be a really great product.

And that’s everything that was in this month’s Bellabox. Did you receive differing products, or the same? Your thoughts?

Stay Minty!

Great that you got a magazine this time! I’ve tried one of the Montagne Jeunesse masks before and it was pretty good. Maybe show us on instagram when you use the nail wraps. I’d like to see them on :D
