How To Determine Your Face Shape

Step 1- Measure The Dimensions Of Your Face

Grab a measuring tape to get started!

• Forehead: Measure the width of your forehead from the center of one eyebrow to the center of the other.
• Cheekbones: Measure between the widest points of your cheeks, from right below the corners of your eyes.
• Jawline: Place your measuring tape from the center of your chin to the end of your jawline, just below your ear. Multiply this number by 2 to get the length of your jawline.
• Overall Length:Measure the length from the center of your hairline to the tip of your chin.

Now that you’ve got all your measurements, it’s just a matter of comparing the numbers to determine your face shape!

Step 2- Find Out Your Face Shape

• Round: If your face length and cheekbones are larger than your forehead and jawline, then you have a round face shape. People with this face shape also have more soft and rounded jawlines.
• Square: If you have a sharp jawline and the measurements of all your dimensions are roughly the same, then you have a square face shape.
• Rectangle: You have a rectangle face shape if your face length is longer than all the other dimensions of your face, and your forehead, cheekbones, and jawline lie roughly along the same line.
• Oval: The face length of people with oval face shape is larger than their cheekbones and they have a slightly angular jawline.
• Triangular: If your face tapers upwards from a wide jawline to medium-sized cheekbones to a narrow forehead, then you have a triangular face shape.
• Diamond: Diamond face shaped people have the longest face length followed by cheekbones, forehead, and jawline in a descending order. They also have pointed chins.
• Heart: People with heart-shaped faces have a wide forehead that tapers down to narrower cheekbones and a small jawline with a pointed chin.
