I head up to Yeppoon (a couple of hours north of where I live) to visit my sister’s family, so I thought I would show you what I normally pack for a couple of days away from home - kind of like a what’s in my travel makeup bag. The key here is to travel light, but to ensure I am not left pining for my makeup at home. This post didn’t schedule correctly while I was away, so I thought I would combine Days 9 and 10. Sorry guys
First up, only essentials in my travel bag! I went for two days so it wasn’t like I needed a great deal. I used Skin79 Oriental Gold BB Cream (RRP $50.00) to ensure I got my SPF 50+ in the hot Tropic of Capricorn. To get a little more coverage and help cover my under-eye bags, I use Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in Light (RRP $14.95), which I learnt is almost a dupe for NARS Creamy Concealer. Hey-o!
I used Urban Decay Naked Basics (RRP $29.00 USD) for a simple neutral eye look, as well as using Faint as my eyebrow fill in colour. Finish it off with Rimmel London Wonder’full Argan Oil Mascara* (RRP $17.95) (my current fave) and old faithful MAC Lipstick in Plumful (RRP $36.00)- which can transfer you from day to night suprisingly well! Of course, I needed to take it all along in my Tokyo Milk Black Octopus Makeup Bag from MUAustralia (RRP $24.95) - too cute!
And a couple of snaps from Yeppoon! Was so nice to spend some down time with my sister and her adorable boys
