As you may be aware, I am completely cuckoo for Spring. Scarily so. I want to wear a floral crown to work. I want to walk barefoot and dance in the sun on lunch times. It’s silly, but refreshing. Something a little more normal acceptable that I have been obsessing over is coral lipstick. I am just IN LOVE with the look.
Now, with most beauty/fashion items, you need to find the perfect product FOR YOU. Different skin tones, tastes and needs all come into play here, so don’t be discouraged if you have a differing opinion to mine. That’s good! I would love some discussion on here if you agree or disagree with my choices 
Moving on, after much swatching at the drugstore yesterday, I found one that I was really happy with.
Revlon Lasting Lipstick in Pink Sizzle is my current favourite coral colour. I chose this one over a lip crayon or lip butter, because I wanted a longer lasting pigmentation, without being too drying. I also steered away from the Vivids by Maybelline because that wasn’t the tone of coral I wanted. I think it’s not too pink, not too orange. Just the perfect mid range that I had in mind.
Pros
- Accessible
- Perfect mid-range between pink and orange.
- Not drying or sticky
- Fairly good lasting power for the average lipstick, about three hours before reapplication
Cons
- Expensive for a drugstore lipstick. Australian drugstore prices are outrageous

It’s ok but I think (for me personally that is) I’d like something more pigmented? It’s quite sheer and looks more like lip gloss than lipstick.

Very true. It is quite sheer, but I think that for “day” lipsticks (which is what I was looking for in a coral lipstick) I need the sheerer look. I normally have more pigmented lipsticks for night time or sometimes during the day in Winter and Autumn

I love this colour! I have one similar to this but don’t wear it too often since I’m more of a bright lip kind of gal. I’m definitely with you on the Australian drugstore prices, wowee, it’s so much cheaper to have a makeup obsession in America! haha. Lovely post

I love rocking a bright lip, but coral bright lips just look strange on me I think! This is the best one I’ve found so far for sure
And my goodness yes it is. It might all be relevant in the end but $20 per lipstick just seems crazy when you can buy an American MAC Lipstick for $16.

It is definitely one of the nicer formulas from Revlon. Some of their different shades can have different formulas which is confusing!

The colour is really pretty! I love that its quite natural but still has a pop of colour. I rarely buy lipsticks because like you said, they’re so expensive here!
I remember Jungle Peach lipstick.lipstick was cheap then.That was end of wearing lipstick for me for a few years
