Review: Nayki Spring Fling

It’s rare to find well made beauty products that have been made and sold locally in my area of Central Queensland. When I came across Nayki Organic Skincare, a business run in Boyne Island, Queensland, I couldn’t wait to try out their products! Coffee scrubs have been super popular lately, and have especially gained popularity via Instagram.

I purchased the Spring Fling Nakyi Scrub (RRP $21.95), which an all natural coffee scrub, infused with citrus! Perfect for the weather here at the moment! This particular scrub includes ground coffee beans (to reduce cellulite, prevent varicose veins and improves skin texture), coconut oil (to clear dirt, grime and dead skin cells, even skin tone and heal blemishes and various rashes), almond oil (to fade stretch marks and hyper pigmentation, moisturise and nourish the skin), jojoba oil and vitamin E (to reduce moisture loss, repair acne scars, suburn and chapped skin) and orange peel powder (to cleanse and brighten the skin, unblock pores and remove acne). PHEW!

It’s recommended that you use Nayki on your body twice a week for optimum results, and use a little on your face as a physical exfoliant, although I would recommend only doing this maybe once a fortnight, as it can be quite harsh and do more harm than good on your facial skin. You can also use this scrub to give your skin a good once-over before a spray tan! Removing the extra dead skin build up (especially around your knees and elbows) can make your tan look flawless and last longer.

Using this in the shower is always SUCH a treat. I’ve been using it twice a week for about three weeks and still have enough for probably about two more weeks. I’ve mainly been using it on problem areas (hello thighs!) and my skin is noticeably firmer in areas I’ve been using it. Score! It also happens to smell amazing! I love drinking coffee, but even before I started drinking it, I’ve always loved the scent. It energises you while you are in the shower, and the orange scent of the peel is also super fresh. Not a coffee lover? Not to worry! They have just released a green tea scrub (which I will be purchasing next I think!) so there really is something for everyone!

I would definitely recommend picking up a pack of Nayki today (they even have a Christmas Deal - three packs for $60!). They make a great gift for your sister, girlfriend, sister-in-law, what-have-you, and hey, why not treat yourself while you are at it! Not only do you get a great pack, but you are also supporting a local, Australian business (well, local to me! :D).

Have you used a natural coffee scrub?
