Give me candy pink hair and lips to match and I am a happy girl! I particularly liked this makeup look I wore on Monday and I think I will be wearing variations of it in the future. As you can see, I re-bleached and re-pinked my hair. I had a moment in the supermarket where I picked up brown hair dye and just couldn’t bring myself to do it. D: I am really loving this fairy floss-esque pink colour that came out in my hair though, I feel a little like Strawberry Shortcake.
I wore my new high coverage foundation L’Oreal Paris Infallible Liquid Foundation* in Rose Beige. I did a first impressions review on this one earlier in the week which you can read here. I also used Revlon Colorstay Concealer in Light (RRP $, which is perfect for covering those pesky under-eye circles. With the high coverage of the L’Oreal foundation, I didn’t need any additional concealer on my blemishes, which was a bonus!
I used an old favourite for blush - Physician’s Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush (RRP $21.95) in the shade Natural (which I called my Sex Blush for some time on YouTube in 2013). It gives you an amazing glow and happy feelings - you don’t need no man gurl.
For eyes I’ve been keeping it pretty simple lately with Tease from the Naked 2 Eye Shadow Palette , a matte taupe colour, and Revlon Matte Eye Shadow in Peach Sorbet. I find this combination gives me a little definition around the eyes, and covers any unsightly veins and discolouration.
For brows, I have been using my soulmate, Rimmel London Professional Eyebrow Pencil in Hazel (RRP $8.50) set in place with e.l.f. Clear Brow Gel (RRP $3.00). I am getting dangerously close to the end of this one, so I really need to get off my butt and buy a new one! For mascara I donned my usual Covergirl Clump Crusher in Very Black (RRP $17.95)
On the lips, I wore MAC Satin Lipstick in Snob (RRP $36), and NYX Butter Gloss in Strawberry Parfait (RRP $9.95). I love the effect of these two combined, I felt like Mailbu Barbie all day long!
