Hi everyone! Long time no chat. I thought I might show you some of my more recent purchases from my mini ‘hauls’. Some are new products to the market and some are old favourites that I have repurchased. These purchases are spanning over March and April, so it wasn’t one big shopping trip
Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation in Ivory - RRP $25.95
One of my favourite drugstore foundations, and easily my favourite at the moment. I love how easily it applies and it looks and feels like real skin. I think when all is said and done, I will be repurchasing this foundation for a long time to come.
Revlon Matte Balms in Striking & Shameless - RRP $17.95 (each)
There has been soooooo much hype around the Revlon Matte Balms. Every person, and their mum, and their dog’s mum have been talking about these Matte Balms! They also took ages to come to my town which was such a tease! Talk about playing hard to get Revlon -_- These are so moisturising and not uncomfortable to wear like some other matte formulas. I’ve been loving the two shades I purchased, but I don’t think these will be the last ones I purchase. I have my eyes on Audacious, Elusive, Sultry and Standout.
Revlon Lacquer Balm in Whimsical - RRP $17.95
I was instantly drawn to the Whimsical shade in the Revlon Lacquer Balm collection (not nearly as hyped as the matte balms) but I really think they should be. They are so moisturising and have an amazing lustrous look to them.
RCK Body Glow * - RRP $49.95 150mL
I was a little bamboozled by this product, it didn’t seem to do anything to my skin other than a little bit of shimmer and colour. But after some research, I tried again after fake tanning with St Tropez Bronzing Mousse. Good gracious almighty this stuff is amazing. I suffer from cellulite like most ladies and this can help mask it (not cure it, not make it disappear, but it does mask it!). It’s perfect for treating yourself to something a little bit special and if you are an avid tanner then I would recommend this.
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water - RRP $11.99 400mL
I recently picked this one up after a lot of hype from UK Bloggers and a couple of Aussie Bloggers. This one is essentially a dupe for Bioderma Cleansing Water, at a third of the cost! Check out my comparison post here.
Indeed Laboratories Hydraluron* - RRP $34.99 30mL
I have heard quite a lot of buzz around the Indeed Laboratories Hydraluron serum, and will do a full review if anyone is interested. It’s super hydrating and I will definitely be picking this up once my supply runs out. I haven’t seen immediate ‘results’ as such, as with most skin care, especially serums, but my skin does feel supple and well moisturised
Indeed Laboratories Hydraluron Face Mask* - RRP $29.99 pack of 4
A big change from my usual blemish fighting masks, these hydrating Hydraluron masks keep my skin plump and don’t break me out at all. I’m down to my last one and I am not sure if I am going to be able to give them up just yet… repurchasing imminent..
Garnier Perfect Blur Smoothing Base Perfector - RRP $16.99 22mL
After having a somewhat disappointing time with Nyx Pore Filler, I decided to try out Garnier Perfect Blur, and I was pleasantly surprised! I’ve found this is a great primer to use with my foundation and it doesn’t separate the product out. It makes my skin feel like silk and is the perfect base for minimising pores, something that I strive for.
Sally Hansen Big Shiny Top Coat - RRP $12.95
Seeing as my Seche Vite was on it’s last legs, I picked up this at my local pharmacy to give it a shot. It has an awesome thick, glossiness that stays super shiny and prevents chipping with ease. It’s also not as gluggy as Seche Vite can be at times, and dries super quick!
L’Oreal & OPI Nail Colours
I found some great OPI and L’Oreal nail polishes at my local Reject Shop and picked up a couple of shades. Although most of these shades are very spring, I couldn’t leave them behind at only $6 each (and $2 for the L’Oreal.) The ones I picked up were: L’Oreal Lacy Lilac, and OPI colours Fly, Did It On ‘Em, Call me Gwen-ever and I Just Spotted the Lizard.
Hope you enjoyed this haul, and apologies for my unofficial hiatus. A new job and being sick really took it out of me. But I am back on board and have heaps of ideas - stay tuned!
Stay Minty!
