I’ve decided to do these ‘Shop my Stash’ posts on a monthly basis. It’s a good habit to get into and I have been shopping my stash more than ever since I haven’t been able to buy new little things from the store.
I bought this Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation after learning about the brand from MissTango2 (she is amazing for finding awesome drugstore products in Australia!) I really like how easily it blends into my skin, and the fruity scent is amazing! It has apricot, melon and apple. NOM!
This was my first ever purchase of MAC, and I think it was through Buy Invite, or somewhere similar for discontinued or discounted products. This blush is very pigmented, so you only need a little to go a long way! I love the darker flush than my regular pinky glow. It was a nice change, and great to work my way into Autumn!
Shopping your stash can be great not just for finding products you don’t normally use, but also using them in new ways! I love using MAC Omega Eyeshadow as a crease colour, but I also recently saw pale skinned ladies using this as a contour shade. Dear me, this is fabulous. It’s a great way to double the use of a product, and I love that it suits paler skin for upcoming cooler months.
One of my all time favourite perfumes, and I always avoid using it because I don’t want to use it up! Silly reasoning! I think since I started wearing this perfume in 2007 I have gone through about a bottle a year. I just love the scent so much! It all started with a love for Agyness Deyn (that gorgeous androgynous model with the peroxide pixie cut). It’s definitely a love it or hate it scent. It’s definitely quite a loud, citrus/floral scent, and it’s certainly not in everyone’s tastes, but I just adore it!
LUSH Lip Balm in Honey Trap
I purchased this a long time ago (it’s only just still in date) and I thought I better do my best to use as much as I can before it expires. I wish I used this more, it’s a very sweet white chocolate-y indulgence and certainly makes my lips smoother and healthier (not to mention tastier).
Face of Australia Liquid Eyeliner in Black
I’ve been using felt tip liners and gel liners for a while now, so thought I would try out the ol’ liquid dip brush again. I am certainly not skilled enough to use this without a pencil guideline, but I love how glossy and wet it makes the liner look.
So that’s the second Shop my Stash Hope you enjoyed! Thanks to my determination I will be doing an empties video and post very soon, stay tuned!
