I have been a long time user of the Bioderma Micellar Cleansing Water after purchasing it on my trip to Paris in 2012. I use it to take off my makeup at night, and also as a pre-cleanse in the morning to get my skin super prepped and ready for the day.
When I used up the majority of my Bioderma supplies I picked up the Garnier Cleansing Water at my local supermarket for a fraction of the price that you pay for Bioderma. So, in good beauty blogger fashion, I thought I might compare them to see if Garnier Cleansing Water is all it is cracked up to be!
You will be pleased to know that Garnier has made a pretty great dupe for the coveted cult classic of Bioderma Cleansing Water. It’s oil-free, fragrance-free and leaves no residue on the face. It’s also excellent at removing small mistakes of makeup with a cotton tip.
I also find that Bioderma is one of the gentlest eye makeup removers I’ve ever tried, and I wanted to ensure that the Garnier version matches up. I had no irritations or stinging when used on my eyeballs! Success!
Overall, definitely try and pick up the new Garnier Micellar Water. It’s about half the price, twice the size, and nearly the exact same product! Win!
Have you tried either of these cleansing waters?
Stay Minty!
